Registrations are open! The African Hockey Experience is a fundraising trip to Zambia. The trip will be held from July 6th until July 16 2018. For the Hockey Dreams Foundation this is a way to provide Dutch hockey players the opportunity to work together with the coaches and children from the African programs.
Do you love hockey?
For the African Hockey Experience we are looking for excited hockey players or hockey lovers. Are you a minimum of 18 years and you want to make the world a better place? Are you an excited hockey player, trainer, coach, volunteer, board member or do you just love hockey? Are you ready to have a fantastic adventure in Africa? Then you should go on this trip! As a AHX participant you will have an amazing trip during which you will see where the money you raised is being used for.
The trip of your life
During the trip you will play hockey, you will provide trainings and clinics together with the local coaches and children and you will experience the African country. You will raise a minimum of 1.500 euro for the Hockey Dreams Foundation which is supporting these projects and coaches. This way you will see personally where your money is going. The event is a combination of hockey, interaction with locals and an amazing experience in Africa. The trip will exist of a maximum of 25 people so everyone can get to know each other. You will experience personally what the Hockey Dreams Foundation is doing. What do the hockey coaches do, where do they live and how do they develop? You will be surprised by the technique, the motivation and power the children, mostly bare foot, bring to the field. Besides there is enough time and space to see the wonderful environment, with a visit to the Victoria Falls in Livingstone and a safari as extra.
